Rosehip Tea Recipe

Rosehip Tea Recipe

Rosehips are a valuable source of vitamin C, containing nearly 20 times more vitamin C than Oranges! One of the most traditional uses for Rosehips is to brew a fresh tea.

If you are out and about this weekend, keep an eye out for some rose bushes as this is where you will find Rosehips as they come from the seed pods of roses.

Rosehips are at their optimum nutritional value immediately after harvest. Once the rosehips have been picked they can be used whole to make a delicious tea.

*It is recommended that the insides of the hips are removed before consumption to avoid irritation*

To prepare the Rosehips:

Cut off the stem, cut the hip in half, and scrape out the seeds and hairy centre.
